Become A Volunteer

What you do makes a difference.

As they say, team work makes the dream work. WARN could not help the animals it does without the humans that help them. Check below to see how you can help.

Why volunteer with WARN?

Volunteering with Working Animals Retirement Network is a way to help the animals with whom we share this world. Not everyone has money to donate, but time is just as valuable. We welcome anyone willing to help and will work with you to complete education volunteer hours, fulfill community service requirements, and provide references for future employers.

Street Team

WARN makes itself known in communities by setting up booths and tables at relevant events such as vegan food festivals and plant expos. This outreach is crucial to awareness, volunteer sign-ups, and securing donations.

Animal Fostering

Working Animals Retirement Network aims to help any animal being exploited, and domestic animals are no exception. Animals used in testing, racing, fighting, or education such as dogs, cats, rabbits, or mice sometimes need an interim home before being placed in their forever home. This provides valuable opportunities to build socialization and trust.

Animal Transportation

Animals going from their previous placement to medical appointments to their new homes need to get there somehow! Anyone who has experience and equipment in transporting pets or farm animals is encouraged to reach out, as your help is always needed.
