Here at Working Animals Retirement Network we love to put a face to the animals helped, and to highlight the ones that helped them.
Every journey I help an animal make is a part of my own, and I am proud of each step in that journey. After volunteering with WARN for two years, the impact is tangible. Getting horses out of the entertainment industry and onto family farms that will love them…there’s nothing better than that.

With WARN’s help we are able to educate the public about our important role as guardians and protectors of the animals. For the past several years, they have connected us with more hands and more funds to carry out our crucial work.

Our star stock performer Big Bubba was due for retirement as his vision was declining. WARN got us connected with a ranch out in Oklahoma where he will receive dignified care for the rest of his days. They were very thorough and showed the utmost respect for Big Bubba.

Dino and Bam-Bam came to us from a guard dog rescue that WARN works with. The services they provided aided in a smooth transition into domestic life for our boys – stuff like pre-placement visits, behavioral training, and exposure therapy. Here’s to hoping for a Pebbles in our future!
