The work to protect all animals benefits all people.

Every animal saved from a life of exploitation and suffering is an accomplishment worth celebrating. Because there are many types of animals, we need many types of help.

What help is needed?

Animal liberation is a team effort. We need medical care, transportation, and placements in homes or sanctuaries. If you are a vet, have animal transportation equipment, or oversee a sanctuary, pasture, or rescue, WARN would love to hear from you. See different categories below for further details and examples.

Domestics

Domestic animals that can be kept in a home – such as racing dogs, rodents used for cosmetic testing, or rabbits used for fur – will need check-ups before placement in a home or with a foster.

Exotics

Exotic pets such as snakes, birds, or amphibians used for educational presentations or in entertainment will need medical care and transport to their forever homes or to a foster home.

Farm Animals

Farm animals such as horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, or cows used for labor or entertainment will need medical care and specific transport to their new pastures or sanctuaries. Fowl such as geese, ducks, chickens, and turkeys will need avian healthcare and subsequent transport.

Wildlife

Animals that cannot live with people or on cruelty-free farms such as big cats, elephants, primates, or aquatic animals, will need specialized health care and transport to a sanctuary. Wild re-release occurs on a case-by-case basis.
